A taxonomic study of Korean Pelioptera Kraatz is presented. Two species, Pelioptera (Pelioptera) opaca Kraatz and P. (P.) testaceipennis (Motschulsky), are recognized and the latter is new to the Korean peninsula, while the former is a new addition to South Korea.
