Deskripsi
In the title dinuclear complex, [Tm2(C8H7O3)6(C10H8N2)2(H2O)2]·H2O, the TmIII atoms are coordinated by eight O atoms from four 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate (HPAA) ligands and a water molecule, and one N atom from a 4,4′-bipyridine ligand in a distorted tricapped trigonal–prismatic geometry. While four of the HPAA ligands coordinate to just one Tm atom, the remaining two HPAA ligands bridge the two Tm atoms. In the crystal, O—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a three-dimensional network.
