Abstract This article is concerned to the investigation of extremal solutions for a system of fractional order differential equations with coupled integral boundary value problem. In initial stage, we establish a comparison result and then using the iterative technique of monotone type together with the procedure of extremal solutions, we develop sufficient conditions to obtain the solutions for the considered fractional differential system. Moreover, the investigated results are also justified by providing suitable examples.
