The present investigation was carried out to evaluate the status of Tuberculosis among the local population of District Dir (L). The data was collected from the local TB center and Hospital located in 8 centers in different area of District Dir (L). Total 1385 entries were recorded officially in which 510 are positive and 875 are negative. The registered cases for TB were categorized by age, sex and center. It has been found that the register cases of T.B are high among the population between 10 to 30 years, whereas the sex is concern female were found comparatively highly affected than male. Where is the center is concern the high TB patients were reported in Shamshi Khan (56.25%) followed by Lal Qilla (48.25%), ouch (45.27%), Munda (40.88%), Gul Abad (39.53%), Smar Bagh (39.49%),Timergara (30.95%) and Chakdara (22.56%). In case of any outbreak of TB in district Dir (L) the present study will be of great epidemiological significance.
