Abstract Levonorgestrel emergency contraception (LNG‐EC) tends to make uterus unfavorable for implantation but does not prevent embryo implantation. Emergency contraceptives pills should be used with caution among lactating women who at the same time should be monitored closely for ectopic pregnancy.
