This document describes the modeling of an AC-DC converter and the design of a Generalized Proportional Integral Control (GPI) technique. The design of this technique occurs in the context of active disturbance rejection (ADRC), in which it is shown that GPI control techniques are capable of rejecting endogenous and exogenous disturbances of the plant, leading to a bounded following error and this dimension can be made as small as desired by moving the roots away from the imaginary axis.
