Curing characteristics,physical and mechanical properties,and thermal oxidative pro-perty of nitrile rubber (NBR) vulcanized by N-cyclohexylmaleimide,2,2′-bis[4-(4-maleimide phenoxy)phenyl]propane (BMP-BMI) and N,N′-(4,4′-diphenylmethane) bismaleimide (BDM) were stu-died.The results showed that N-cyclohexylmaleimide,BMP-BMI and BDM had little effect on the scorch time of NBR,the vulcanization time was obviously prolonged,the maximum torque was increased,and the physical and mechanical properties were improved.With the increase of addition amount of BDM,the vulcanization time was prolonged,the maximum torque was increased,and the retention rate of thermal oxidative aging properties was improved.The optimum addition amount of BDM was 4 phr,and the physical and mechanical properties of NBR were the best.
