Deskripsi

Very close to the Roman city of Lugo, on the banks of the river Miño, the city’s modern Thermal Spa is home to one of the most singular and well-preserved Roman buildings of Lucus Augusti. The existence of mineral-thermal waters in this location and the specific architecture of their Roman structures emphasize the need to reconsider the archaeological and historical remains, and consequently their interpretation, in accordance with the singular characteristics of this kind of health spa complex in the Roman Age.
