Mesir paste, which is a ritual of mesir paste festivity, is in the focus of the study. Although it has been alleged that mesir paste was first prepared by Merkez Efendi, it will be emphasized the first mixture had been prepared thousand years ago before Merkez Efendi, and a mesir paste mixture found in Terceme-i Akrabâdîn will be presented.
