El objetivo general del presente artículo es analizar las manifestaciones que adquiere el feminismo en un ámbito urbano del sudoeste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, como la ciudad de Bahía Blanca. Más específicamente, se estudian las concepciones de quienes adhieren a ideas feministas, vehiculizadas por la prensa periódica local en las tres primeras décadas del siglo XX. Se abordan las características que asume la presencia del tema del feminismo en el campo periodístico, así como los debates que genera su definición y las posturas de sus adherentes en torno a los tres tópicos que integran la denominada cuestión de la mujer: la educación, la participación política y el trabajo.<br>The main objective of this paper is to analyze the different manifestations of the feminism in an urban area in the southwest of Buenos Aires Province like Bahía Blanca. In particular, the study is center on the conceptions of those that are in favor of the feminist ideas, and that are present in the local media, periodical journals, in the first three decades of the XXth Century. The characteristics that has the feminism presence as a subject in the press field, and the debates that the different positions generate around its definition and the three topics that form part of the women question: education, political participation and work, are analyzed.
