With the intense movement inside the so-called Web 2.0, much is discussed whether the massive collaboration is beneficial or dangerous within a sociocultural scope, ie, determining a tyranny or a wisdom of crowds. This article proposes to make a return to historical quarrel of these two concepts to contextualize this webdynamic and decide whether there is ou there isn't an overlap. Here, there is the position that there is a symmetry between concepts and what was actually changed was the society itself, constituting a social network such as hyperlinks, becoming, metaphorically, a wikisociety.
