In this vignette, a science teacher integrates global literature into the curriculum to allow students to not only access science content, but also connect in a deeper way to the experiences and perspectives of young people in other cultures. In particular, the focus is water and global water issues to allow students to compare and contrast their own interactions with water to those of the protagonists of multicultural books.
