Deskripsi
We collected moth samples from high altitude areas on Mount Gariwangsan, South Korea, from 2011 to 2014. We identified 10 species of the superfamily Pyraloidea (2 Pyralidae species and 8 Crambidae species) that were new to South Korea, namely, Hoeneodes vittatellus (Ragonot, 1887), Patagoniodes nipponellus (Ragonot, 1901), Anania fuscalis (Denis et Schiffermüller, 1775), Eudonia truncicolella (Stainton, 1849), Evergestis holophaealis (Hampson, 1913), Hendecasis apiciferalis (Walker, 1866), Nomis albopedalis (Motschulsky, 1861), Piletocera penicillaris (Christoph, 1881), Udea exigualis (Wileman, 1911), and Udea montensis (Mutuura, 1954). The description, distribution, adult photographs, and pictures of female genitalia of all 10 species are provided.
