Clinical and imaging follow-up outcomes were obtained 18 years after stent-supported left carotid artery percutaneous intervention in a 25-year-old woman with Takayasu arteritis who presented with recurrent syncope and obstructive lesions in both carotid arteries. The excellent long-term result achieved indicates that this treatment modality can be effective and durable.
