We describe a series of six patients with naphthalene ball intentional poisoning in adult patients. A 41-year-old male developed methemoglobinemia, intravascular hemolysis, and hemoglobinuria. The patient was managed by intravenous methylene blue, ascorbic acid, N-acetylcysteine, and packed red blood cell transfusion. Rest of the patients had mild symptoms and were managed symptomatically. All the patients had a favorable outcome. The relationship between features of the toxidrome and serum levels of methemoglobin is analyzed. The supportive role of gastric lavage and methylene blue is being discussed.
