Abstract By establishing a comparison result and using the monotone iterative technique combined with the method of upper and lower solutions, we have investigated the existence of extremal solutions for nonlinear fractional differential systems with integral boundary conditions. As an example, an application is presented to demonstrate the accuracy of the new approach.
