Deskripsi

Cystic adventitial disease (CAD) is a well-known vascular disease, with most cases involving the popliteal artery, while only 10 of spontaneous resolution have been reported. A 68-year-old man was diagnosed with CAD of the popliteal artery based on computed tomography findings. He was followed as an outpatient and spontaneous resolution was noted 24 months after the initial onset of symptoms. CAD rarely leads to chronic limb-threatening ischemia, thus careful observation and follow-up examinations are an optional approach.
