The paper examines the concept of the «vita contemplativa» in Nietzsche’s work. The aim of this paper is show the connection between <<vita contemplativa>> and Bildung in Nietzsche’s thought. Therefore, with this we aim for a better understanding of the concept of Bildung and its role for education.
