Objectives: Estimate the prevalence of chronic complications of diabetes and hypovitaminosis D. Determine the association between vitamin D deficiency and chronic complications of diabetes. Materials and methods: A retrospective study was carried out by the team from the Nutrition section. It was used the computerized medical history to collect data on chronic complications of diabetes and 25OHD levels from the population. The association between chronic complications and vitamin D deficiency was analyzed.
