Distance learning – E.A.D. in undergraduate courses in Brazil is consolidated as a form of social inclusion. The limitations imposed by geographical, economic and circumstantial distances can be overcome by this model of teaching. Technological innovations boost not face higher study. The educator needs to reinvent itself for the demand and efficiency in this format. The E.A.D. can not be a mere distributor of undergraduate degrees. The criteria for evaluation of these new courses need to be strict to ensure the quality of education and training of professionals ready to meet the current needs of the labor market.
