This article complements one written by the same author and published in LOGGIA no. 6, in which he described the emergency measures taken on the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi after the earthquake that took place on 26th September 1997. This text gives a concise account of the tests performed to discover the behaviour of the church during the earthquakes and all the restoration works carried out after the initial emergency steps.
