Stock valuationis a complicated task that requires business analytical skills, sources of information and understanding of finance and stock market. In addition, the overall market performance causes stock price variation, thus makes it difficult to find out reasonable stock value. The research applied Comparable method to compare the ratios such as EBITDA/EV, EBIT/EV and P/E of the ten big manufacturing companies in the group VN30 listed on HOSE with the industry average ratio of companies in emerging markets. As a result, the research demonstrates the attractiveness of big manufacturing companies in the eyes of foreign investors and gave domestic corporations and investors a fair view about the value of those businesses.
