This is an article in the field of mining engineering. Graphite is an inorganic nonmetallic material widely used in China, and it also plays an important role in chemical industry, electrical industry, national defense and high-tech fields. Graphite mining will produce a large number of tailings, it not only occupies a lot of land but also causes serious pollution to the ecological environment. By consulting a large number of documents, the current research status of graphite tailings resource utilization is summarized in this paper, and the problem of massive accumulation of graphite tailings is discussed, and some suggestions are put forward to help its resource utilization.
