The paper deals with the polarization influence of municipal centers on the development of environment. Level of polarization impact is measured by the level of migration i.e. attractiveness of a center for migration of population and by the number of commuters entering a municipal center. The results of the performed analysis clearly indicate that the impact of municipal centers on the development of environment increases as a result of the increase of the population.
