<p class="Pa55">Este artículo pretende exponer las dificultades para la traducción del epigrama al comienzo del Viaje del Parnaso, de Cervantes. Hay dos líneas diferentes de traducción, motivadas por algunas ambigüedades e incorrecciones gramaticales del epigrama. Se propone la de Astrana Marín como preferible y, finalmente, se hace notar la relación temática entre el poema y el Viaje del Parnaso.</p><p class="Pa55"><strong>Palabras clave:</strong> dificultad, epigrama, neolatín.</p><p class="Pa54" align="center"> </p><p class="Pa55"><strong>Abstract: </strong></p><p class="Pa55">This paper tries to explain the troubles with the translation of the epigram at the beginning of the Viaje del Parnaso, by Cervantes. There exist two different lines of translation, motivated by the syntactical ambiguities and mistakes of the epigram. The translation by Astrana Marín is suggested as the better one.
