<p/> <p>We study the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for a class of <inline-formula><graphic file="1687-2770-2007-074517-i2.gif"/></inline-formula>th-order singular nonlocal boundary value problems <inline-formula><graphic file="1687-2770-2007-074517-i3.gif"/></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><graphic file="1687-2770-2007-074517-i4.gif"/></inline-formula>, <inline-formula><graphic file="1687-2770-2007-074517-i5.gif"/></inline-formula> where <inline-formula><graphic file="1687-2770-2007-074517-i6.gif"/></inline-formula>. The singularity may appear at <inline-formula><graphic file="1687-2770-2007-074517-i7.gif"/></inline-formula> and/or <inline-formula><graphic file="1687-2770-2007-074517-i8.gif"/></inline-formula>. The Krasnosel'skii-Guo theorem on cone expansion and compression is used in this study. The main results improve and generalize the existing results.</p>
