According to problems existed in development status of thin seam shearer and thick seam shearer, research directions of shearer technology were put forward combing with development trend of shearer, which were improving reliability of key components such as shearer haulage system and ranging arm planetary mechanism, strengthening research of advanced technology and basic theory and studying shearer with new structure in advance.
