Fixed filter base B of a mapping f consists of multiplicative open sets such that for given B ∈ B, there is an A ∈ B satisfying f(A) ⊂ B. Also, the constructions of fixed filter bases have been established and some results for fixed filter bases of different types of multiplicative contraction mappings are derived in multiplicative metric spaces. Moreover, the concept of a fixed point at infinity is obtained in multiplicative metric spaces.
