The rapid development of China’s marine fishery, the sharply increasing fishery garbage brought by marine fishery production activities, and the continuous deterioration of marine fishery environment have made the problem of marine fishery garbage treatment urgent to be solved. Starting from the definition of relevant concepts of the legalization of marine fishery waste treatment, this paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the legalization of marine fishery waste treatment in the Yangtze River Delta, and combs out that in the current process of marine fishery waste treatment, the legalization of the Yangtze River Delta is facing difficulties such as the lag of regional special legislation, the fuzzy boundary of regional law enforcement, the imperfect construction of regional justice, and the weak awareness of law-abiding fishermen. It is proposed to promote the legalization of marine fishery waste treatment in the Yangtze River Delta, that is, to establish special laws and regulations on marine fishery waste treatment, standardize the law enforcement environment of marine fishery waste, improve the judicial construction of marine fishery waste treatment, and strengthen the legal awareness of marine fishery waste treatment of fishermen.
