Abstract In this paper, we introduce some operations on a fuzzy neutrosophic soft set ( fns $\mathfrak{fns}$-set) by utilizing the theories of fuzzy sets, soft sets and neutrosophic sets. We introduce fns $\mathfrak{fns}$-mappings by using a cartesian product with relations on fns $\mathfrak{fns}$-sets and establish some results on fixed points of an fns $\mathfrak{fns}$-mapping. We present an algorithm to deal with uncertainties in the multi-criteria decision making to slenderize energy crises by using an fns $\mathfrak{fns}$-average operator and a comparison table for fns $\mathfrak{fns}$-sets.
