Trans-radial intervention increases patient comfort and reduces vascular complications. Trans-radial access has become the preferred choice of patients and cardiologists. Radial artery spasm is commonly encountered during procedure and it depends upon factors like artery anatomy, built of the patient, procedure variables. We report a case of radial artery spasm leading to avulsion in a 69-year old short Asian female during coronary angiogram, which was managed successfully by conservative measures. A brief note of various management procedures like drugs and device are mentioned.
