The COVID-19 pandemic affecting all mankind has brought into question the medical risks to which humanity is subjected. A number of characteristics of medical crises contribute to the difficulty of awareness, understanding and reluctance to act by the policy makers. Our approach is aimed at understanding the causes, mechanisms and especially promoting solutions that contribute to the identification and selection of "future desirables" during a medical crisis.
