In this article, an attempt has been made to reveal the position of the Holy Qur'an in relation to the corpus of knowledge. The chapters of Quran are named appropriately according to the content of the verses. The Qur'an attributes great value to knowledge. There are hundreds of words related to knowledge in the Qur'an and it has been mentioned as a common attribute of all Prophets. More so the study of sciences and empirical investigation is held obligatory in Islam. The benefits of knowledge have also been analyzed in the light of the Holy Quran in this article.
