THE CLIMATE AND SOIL CONDITIONS FOR THE SUGAR BEET WATER CONSUMPTION CROP TECHNOLOGY RESEARCHES IN TRANSYLVANIA’S FIELD Analyzing the climate and soil conditions were the experiences concerning the sugar beet water consumption and its crop technology took place are very important in the researches evolution. Due to the fact that the cultivable land registered a significant rise in the past two years (sugar beet crop surfaces rise with 600 ha in the past two years) it was observed that the sugar beet is cultivated on large surfaces in the Turda area, were this crop finds very good climate and soil conditions.
