Exploiting an open string which performs both rotational and pulsating motions, we investigate a photon intrinsic frequency. Specifically we find that the intrinsic frequency of the photon is given by ωγ=9.00×1023 sec−1 and comparable to those of the baryons such as nucleon and delta baryon. Next we calculate the photon size 〈r2〉1/2(photon)=0.17 fm in a phenomenological stringy photon model.
