<p>This article aims to evaluate how much a formal model of Grammar can be apply to on-line mental processes that underlying the sentential processing. For this intent, it was carried on an experiment in which it was observed how the Binding Principles act in the processing of correferential relations in Brazilian Portuguese (BP). The results suggest that there is a convergence between linguistic computation and theories about linguistic processing.</p>
