Motivation is one of several important factors that go into a person’s performance. This paper aims to evaluate factors that cause human behavior and the relationship between motivation and employee performance in green product companies. Quantitative analyses are used to investigate factors of employee motivation and the relationship between motivation and employee performance. The result shows that the important factors include salary and fringe benefits, career prospects, work itself, relationships with colleagues, working conditions, leadership and organizational culture respectively. Employee motivation strongly affects employee performance.
