This article investigates the bibliographic database João Guimarães Rosa. For this we describe its history, forms of interaction and complexities. We use descriptive and interpretive methodology with brief data analysis. Our objective was to explore Communication in the database, either as an information system or as an online catalyst for Rosian studies. Our conclusions point to the need for updating and incrementing new data and for the website’s aesthetic sophistication.
