With the advancement of the carbon-electricity coordinated market, interruptible loads play an important role in the new power system. However, there is a lack of accurate and credible value analysis methods. Based on the carbon power flow calculation theory, the carbon emission responsibility of each part in the power system is tracked. The paper proposes a value analysis method that assesses interruptible loads from perspectives of reducing the gross power and carbon emission. A value calculation model for interruptible loads for carbon-electricity coordination is established, and the power and carbon emissions of the system and each part under the condition of load operation and switch-off are compared to quantitatively calculate the value of interruptible loads. The PJM 5-bus system is taken as an example to simulate and analyze the values of interruptible loads in reducing the gross power and carbon emission of the system in the market, which can be used as a theoretical basis for rational pricing in the carbon-electricity coordinated market.
