Este artículo aborda por primera vez el estudio del vocabulario hispano-francés de Nicholao Landuchio (1562). Se analiza su macroestructura y microestructura en relación con los otros dos vocabularios bilingües español-toscano y español-vasco que componen el manuscrito donde se incluye. Atendiendo a sus particularidades ortográficas y a su formato de bolsillo, se formula la hipótesis de que fue un repertorio léxico de uso personal para apoyo en la comunicación oral. This article studies for the first time the Nicholao Landuchio’s Spanish- French vocabulary (1562). Microstructure is analyzed and microstructure related to the other two bilingual Spanish-Italian and Spanish-Basque vocabularies that are part of the same manuscript. After analyzing the orthogra - phic pecualiarities and considering the pocket size, we suggest the possibility that the Landuchio’s dictionary was a lexical book for personal support in oral communication.
