While it is easy to pay attention to the importance of ordinary landscapes for public policies, taking action is often problematic for planning professionals. This text questions especially training programs of landscape planners to explore how issues of ordinary landscapes could evolve in the schools of landscape architecture (and landscape planning). After framing the issues raised by the action on ordinary landscapes, we will outline what could be an ideal program with analysis and transformation of the daily environement at its core. This educational utopia is also a way to examine the role and contribution of the geographical discipline within French training programs of landscape architects and landscape planners.
