Deskripsi
DubaiSat-2 satellite has two cameras Panchromatic (Pan) and Multispectral (Ms) with 1.0 and 4 m ground resolution. Pan-sharpened products are produced from panchromatic and multispectral with 1.0 m ground resolution. This research is oriented to assess the accuracy quantitatively and evaluation feature extraction qualitatively of DubaiSat-2. DubaiSat-2 has three products of satellite images which are pan-sharpened, panchromatic and multispectral will be evaluated individually to produce large scale maps and up-to-date maps over unplanned complex study areas in Egypt. The study area is a flat terrain located in greater Cairo region South Qalubia Governorate and North Cairo Governorate, Egypt. It is characterized by different types and levels of natural and well panned man-made features. The obtained results showed that DubaiSat-2 very high resolution satellite imagery pan-sharpened and panchromatic is capable of generating and updating Egyptian planimetric large scale topographic maps of scale 1:5000 and smaller.
