Conclusion: Charcoal and regular toothbrushes with both types of toothpaste can reduce, but not eliminate, coffee stains. Surface roughness increased in all groups except for the charcoal toothbrush with Beautifil II LS restorations and the regular toothbrush and toothpaste with Fuji II LC restorations.
