Deskripsi
Objective To explore the clinical effectiveness of microparticle oral mucosa vaginoplasty. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 149 patients with reproductive tract malformation (MRKH syndrome and vaginal atresia) who required vaginoplasty and were treated at Gansu Provincial Maternal and Child-Care Hospital from February 2013 to January 2024. Patients were divided into three groups based on the surgical method: oral mucosa vaginoplasty group (n=95), peritoneal vaginoplasty group(n=31), and biological patch vaginoplasty group (n=23). Surgical-related indicators, artificial vagina-related indicators, and sexual function indicators were compared to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of microparticle oral mucosa vaginoplasty. Results The oral mucosa group and the biological patch group demonstrated significantly better outcomes in terms of operation time and blood loss compared to the peritoneal group(P<0.05).Regarding hospitalization costs, the biological patch group had significantly higher expenses than the other two groups, with the oral mucosa group having the lowest costs (P<0.05). Postoperative vaginal length in oral mucosa group and biological patch group was superior to that in the peritoneal group (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences among the three groups concerning vaginal elasticity, vaginal pH value, sexual satisfaction, and complication rates. Conclusion Oral mucosa vaginoplasty is a simple, minimally invasive, painless procedure that meets patient privacy needs, with satisfactory outcomes, low medical costs, and high cost-effectiveness,making it clinically valuable.
