Present paper deals with 23 taxa of genus Cladophora which includes 20 genera 13 species and 5 varieties. Of these Cladophora fracta Kuetz, Cladophora limformis Grun, Cladphora intermedia Foslie, Cladophora uberrima Lambert and Cladophora crispata are new records for the area.
