Deskripsi
The present article has two main goals: in first place, to analyse both concepts of perception and memory in cinema on Maurice Merleau-Ponty's text, “Le Cinéma et la Nouvelle Psychologie”, and, in second place, to analyse the same concepts in Christopher Nolan's film, Memento. We will take as reference Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology of perception in order to understand the philosophical interest of this particular film.
