After a first part dedicated to the relationship of four Sicilian writers with the cinema, this article focuses on some characteristics with which the cinematographic representation of Sicily takes shape in The Leopard, a film directed by Luchino Visconti in 1963 and transposition of the historical novel by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa.
