Deskripsi
In the fourth century BC, Paestum, Greek and Lucanians coexist peacefully. The city know cultural influence through the important development of pottery and the multiplication of painted tombs, all of which confirm the strenghthening of the Lucanian aristocracy. Through these funerary parietal paintings various scenes show the daily, sports or cultural practice of the city inhabitants. But there are also simple representations of objects whose value is precisely to determine their own value and/or complementary to that of other frescoes, stored funerary goods or the gender of the buried person.
