The present article analyses critically the current discursive medical production around the investigations of the psyche and its psychopathological manifestations, based on the neurosciences advances. This affirmative causes a common diagnostic which reduces the subjective and social manifestations to categories such as "disturbs" and "disorders". Considering the childhood, the Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) is a description which is more used within this diagnostic view. We aim to enclose a reflexive area, through a bibliographical research of this diagnosis, with the objective to contribute to a critical conception's construction for the professionals who deal with children diagnosed with AD/HD in the clinic and educational field.
