Deskripsi
In this paper, one of the aspects of using metallic nanoclusters was considered, namely the use of silver nanoparticles as separate bits of information in memory devices based on the phase-change memory (PCM) method. The basic principle of this approach is that to locally change the phase state of a memory cell from crystalline to amorphous, keep this phase as long as you like and, if necessary, and return the material to its original crystalline state. Based on the results of simulation of silver nanostructures, it was concluded that their use as a memory element based on phase transitions is allowed, but with a particle size limitation exceeding 8.0 nm.
